Balloon Flight Information
Our goal is to provide an opportunity for people to truly "escape reality" in the privacy of our hot air balloon to experience the sensations of ballooning without the interruptions of other people.
While shopping for a hot air balloon flight, you'll notice two things in particular that makes Balloon Nevada stand out above other balloon ride operators.
We don't fly groups. The maximum number of guests we will fly in our balloon is three, but usually it's just two. Why is that? Ballooning shouldn't be in the same category as an amusement park ride. Modern day ballooning began as an "intimate" outdoor activity shared with a handful of friends, sort of like like golf... a way to "get away from it all" for a few hours.
Today, going for a balloon ride usually means getting stuffed into an undersized basket with 12 to 20 of your new best friends. Balloon rides are now tour bus rides or carnival rides in the sky with restless kids, boarding passes and all. We don't want to play that game.
Don't take this the wrong way. Riding in a large capacity balloon is safe, and depending on your fellow companions, can be a lot of fun (like that bus ride to El Paso sitting next to a guy sporting a bottle of Ripple).
There are many qualified and very professional large capacity balloon ride providers out there that will give your group a very good ballooning experience. However... if you'd like to experience the real beauty of ballooning from your own private basket, we hope you'll consider flying with Balloon Nevada. If you're going to do something once in your life, do it right!
